Instructions for use of your padel racquet safety strap
Our BABOLAT padel racquets are fitted with a safety strap which is standardised and compulsory according to the regulations of the International Padel Federation.
Its role is to prevent a potential incident by holding the racquet should it involuntarily slip out of the player’s hand.
The safety strap was designed exclusively for this function. Any other use, such as repeatedly dropping the racquet voluntarily during a rally, is likely to cause the premature deterioration of the strap which could lead to its separation from the handle.
TOLERANCE
The level of tolerance is key so that your child can comfortably hit the ball with any part of the racquet without errors. Studies carried out by Babolat in recent years have confirmed this.
Thanks to the LARGE HEAD of the Alioth JR racquet and its specific central DRILLING PATTERN, your child will find it easier and more fun to play while practicing their favorite sport.

Thanks to the combination of maneuvrability, tolerance and comfort, this racquet has the ideal features to reduce errors and help your child have the necessary control when hitting.
Thanks to the racquet's OVERSIZED round head and FIBREGLASS composition, the ball can be placed on the opposite side of the court with the necessary precision whenever needed.

Padel rackets are built to take a beating, but a little care doubles their lifespan. Fit an overgrip — your first defence against sweat and wear — and replace it every 8–12 sessions. Use a protective edge guard if you play close to the walls.
Never leave your racket in a hot car or direct sun: heat softens the core and can delaminate the carbon face. Store it flat in a thermal racket bag and wipe the face with a soft, damp cloth — no solvents. (Padel rackets are solid, so there's no stringing.)

- Orders are generally dispatched within 1–2 working days.
- Estimated delivery: 2–7 working days after dispatch, depending on location and courier.
Cash on Delivery
- A ₹199 COD convenience fee applies to every COD order.
- A COD token advance is payable at checkout: ₹0–₹4,999 is 4%, ₹5,000–₹14,999 is 3%, ₹15,000 and above is 2%.

Returns & Exchanges
- Eligible products can be returned or exchanged within 7 days of delivery, including a change of mind.
- Change-of-mind returns must be unused, in original packaging, with all tags and accessories.
- Customer-requested exchanges: ₹200 or the actual applicable shipping cost, whichever is higher.
- Verified damaged, defective or incorrect products: no customer exchange fee.
- Used or played-with products are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.

Common questions.
Is this right for an intermediate player?
It can be, but it rewards swing speed. If you're a solid intermediate (consistent volleys, comfortable bandejas) you'll love the pop. Early intermediate? Look at a more forgiving control frame while you build technique.
What grip size should I order?
For most adult players in India, L2 (Standard) is the right call. Smaller hands or those who layer two overgrips should pick L1. When in doubt, go smaller — you can always add an overgrip to thicken.
How long will it last?
With normal recreational play (2–3 sessions/week), expect 12–18 months before performance noticeably drops. Apply a frame protector from day one and replace the overgrip every 8–12 sessions.
Do you ship the original box and warranty?
Always. Every racket ships in sealed original packaging with the manufacturer warranty card. We're an authorized distributor — your warranty is honored with us and the brand directly.
Can I return it if it's not the right fit?
Yes — 7-day return window from delivery, as long as the racket is unused and in original packaging. Once played with we can't take it back, but reach out and we'll help you trade up.
